YOUNGSTERS aged between four and 14 can try out hockey for free this Sunday with Bromsgrove Hockey Club.
Their annual #HockeyFest Club Day at Bromsgrove cricket, hockey and tennis club is free to take part in and allows parents and children to see what’s on offer at the club.
Over 200 children and young people were involved in the club’s junior section last season.
The day will feature a full schedule of hockey-based activities for each age group as well as face painting and food stalls.
Under six’s and under eight’s will be able to play between 9.30am and 10.15am, with under 10’s playing for 45 minutes from 10.30am.
Then between 11.30am and 12.15pm the under 12’s will take the field, followed by the ‘Badgers’ and under 14’s between 12.30pm and 1.15pm.
The day is for all abilities and will feature a range of match-play and game-based activities, with experienced coaches on hand throughout.
