AN open day at Bromsgrove Fire Station will take place on September 1 and will give young people an insight into what life is like in the fire service and police force.
Visitors will be able to get a closer look at fire appliances, police vehicles and even meet some police dogs at the annual event.
Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant for Bromsgrove town, Dave King, said: “It’s a great opportunity to come and meet some of Bromsgrove’s finest officers.”
On the day there will be fire engine rides, mascot racing and CPR activities for the public to get involved in.
They will also be treated to chip pan, rescue and road traffic collision demonstrations.
The Slideslow Drive station will open its doors between 11pm and 4pm.
