Bromsgrove District Council releases its Christmas bin collection details

Bromsgrove Editorial 4th Dec, 2018   0

RESIDENTS across Bromsgrove district are being urged to ensure they know which day their bin will be collected over Christmas, writes Abbie Waldron.

There will be changes because of the festive bank holidays.

Those due to have their bin collected on Christmas Day will have theirs picked up on December 22.

Boxing Day collections will take place on December 29.

Bins due to be collected on New Year’s Day will be emptied on January 5.

There will be no changes to collections on December 27 or 28.

Bins being collected on different days should be put out by 7am.

In the event of bad weather, people should leave their bin out as it will be collected as soon as possible.

The council’s head of environmental services Guy Revans said: “We’ve had to make some changes to the collections due to the bank holidays, so we have some replacement Saturday Collections.”

He urged people to visit www.bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk for more information.
