A BROMSGROVE councillor has issued a stark warning over how serious Covid-19 can be after contracting the virus recently.
Coun Harrison Rone-Clarke, aged 20, said he could feel the virus ‘in every bone and muscle’ in his body.
After delivering a positive test, he told his followers on social media: “This virus is no joke…I’m okay but my body aches and I’m more fatigued than I’ve ever been.
“It’s easy to see how Covid can be incredibly dangerous to the clinically vulnerable. It feels like it really has you in it’s grip.
“Stay inside, for heaven’s sake.”
The Rock Hill councillor said he had already been in isolation for over a week when he received his positive result yesterday, January 7.
Luckily, he added, he is over the worst of it.
