COMMUNITY groups and organisations in areas affected by new development are being urged to apply for Bromsgrove District Council’s latest round of New Homes Bonus funding.
The window for applications opened on Tuesday and there is £74,000 up for grabs.
Smaller grants of up to £1,480 are available or larger allocations of £14,800.
The deadline for bids is 5pm on June 14 and groups which want their bids reviewed by district council officers prior to submission should get them in by 9am on May 28.
The council’s NHB Grants Panel will consider the applications in August and then make recommendations to the Cabinet with final decisions made in September.
Jayne Pickering, Executive Director of Finance and Resources for Bromsgrove District Council, said: “The council has again made this money available to community groups in areas affected by housing growth, and we’re now inviting bids.
