Bromsgrove Climate Action to highlight global warming issues at latest outing

MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Climate Action will be highlighting global warming issues on the high street tomorrow.

The group said it was disappointed during a similar exercise on Tuesday to find not many people were aware of the council’s climate survey.

Members will be chatting about the issue and letting people know about the questionnaire.

They also hope to be back in the town centre on next week’s market days.

A spokesperson said: “The survey is very important and we urge you to make your voices heard.

“It is about the future of Bromsgrove and it is your town.”

As part of the research people will be asked about their priorities, including energy, travel, waste, the ‘circular economy’ of reduce, re-use, recycle, and wildlife and biodiversity.

Responses will help the district council develop its action plan for its policies and services currently being prepared by a cross-party working group after councillors declared a ‘Climate Emergency’ last year.

Visit to complete the survey which closes at 5pm on September 1.
