Bromsgrove chef launches appeal after his moped is taken from outside the town's Harvester restaurant

A BROMSGROVE chef has appealed for help in finding his moped which was stolen from outside his workplace earlier today (Friday).

Jake Taggart, who works at the Harvester, saw his white Piaggio moped outside the restaurant at midday but by 2pm it was gone.

It had been secured by a chain which linked the wheel to the frame and it is unsure whether the vehicle was lifted onto another one or the chain was cut and the vehicle was driven off.

A mountain bike was left in the space where Jake’s moped had been.

Jake, who paid £1,300 for the moped in 2016, said: “I depend on the moped to get to and from work.”

Witnesses or anyone with any information on where the moped is now should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
