BROMSGROVE’S Chandler Court enjoyed ‘one last summer hurrah’ as they invited the local community to a fun-filled open afternoon.
Visitors and residents enjoyed activities including arts and crafts, special entertainment and plenty of food including handmade lemon curd macarons and vanilla fudge, prepared specially by the home’s chef.
There was also live music from the Primrose choir, who performed the resident’s favourite songs.
Vongai Mushinga, Home Manager at Chandler Court, said: “We had such a lovely day in the sun welcoming Bromsgrove into our home.
“It was fantastic to see everybody together again and enjoying themselves.
“Hosting an open day with a musical group singing all the classics was a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together.”
