Bromsgrove business owner's quirky Prime Minister shop front pic to remind clients her salon is closed

A BROMSGROVE beauty salon owner has found a quirky way of reminding its customers it is still closed at the moment.

Ginger on Worcester Road was getting a lot of messages through its Facebook and other social media pages asking if it was open.

And, as owner Charlotte Evans is currently relocating the business across the road, a lot of people were looking through the window to find out what was going on inside the building.

She said: “I thought I would have a bit of fun with it and create some artwork to cover up the building work and stop people trying to see what was happening.

“And at the same time it also reminds people they can still stay in touch via our Facebook and Instagram pages.”

She created a picture of a ‘made up’ Boris Johnson in the window with a speech bubble telling clients ‘they must wait for their roots and nails to be done’.

Charlotte added: “We have had such a positive response to it – everybody knows it’s just a bit of fun and seems to love it.”

When the lockdown is over Charlotte will be opening in a new bigger premises opposite the current one.

“We had to move to cope with the demand – we were so busy but did not have the room we needed.

“And of course when we do open, the Prime Minister is very welcome to drop by.

“I’d love to style that blond hair of his,” she added.
