Bromsgrove Editorial 7th Jun, 2023   0

A MAN from Derby has been sentenced to three years in prison after he was convicted of burglary in Bromsgrove.

Miles Connors, 59, of Sidney Street in Derby, was convicted and sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Friday June, 2 for a burglary he committed in Bromsgrove in November 2022.

Connors was arrested on November 19, 2022 in a police pursuit following reports of suspicious activity and the report of a burglary.

Detective Constable Rob Freer from Kidderminster CID said: “We understand how distressing it is to be a victim of burglary.

“We continue to thoroughly investigate any reports of burglary and hopefully this sentence demonstrates that we will do everything in our power to bring those responsible to justice.

“The reduction of burglary, theft and robbery are priorities for West Mercia Police.

“I hope this conviction and sentencing serves to reassure both the local communities in North Worcestershire and the wide community of West Mercia that we will always look to catch and convict those involved in such criminality.”
