THOUGHTFUL staff at Asda in Bromsgrove delivered a stunning food hamper to Housman Court Care Home last week.
The residents were thrilled with the goodies which arrived in time for their bonfire celebrations.
They spent the evening watching fireworks and dunking ‘posh biscuits’ into their warm hot chocolates.
Manager at the School Drive care home, Lisa Dews, said: “As a charity, we work hard to fundraise in order to provide our residents with those important extras in life.
“It helped enormously and brought a smile to the faces of our residents and our team.
“The support from Asda in Bromsgrove means a great deal to us, and we cannot thank them enough.”
Asda manager Mr Plaza added how pleased he was to support the care home.
“We know how hard the team has worked helping to ensure their residents have been safe, well and happy during this crisis,” he said.
