A PCSO disarmed a teenager who was carrying this 18-inch knife in Frankley on Wednesday.
Brave officer Jon Fox was injured in the incident on Lysander Road, suffering just minor injuries after a struggle in the street.
After being apprehended the 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and taken into custody where he remained yesterday.
