A BRAND new family festival is coming to Bromsgrove’s Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club next month, writes Oscar Bland.
‘Priorfest’ will take place at the club on Westonhall Road, from 12pm to midnight on August 13.
The festival will be packed full of entertainment, including stalls, a bouncy castle and a laser clay shooting (age restrictions apply).
Food stalls and The Club Bar will also be open, giving people the chance to try some local produce and fantastic food and drink.
A whole array of musical talent will be taking centre stage from 12.50pm and, if arranged beforehand, camping is available on Saturday night to bring a ‘Glastonbury’ type experience to the event.
Organiser James Maycroft said: “Summer is synonymous with outdoor festivals and we are very excited to be launching Priorfest in August.”
“We’ve developed the event to be really family-friendly, so everyone can join in the fun.”
And he added, if it proved successful, Priorfest could become an annual event.
Advance tickets are available at the bar of the club, costing £8 for adults and £4 for children.
At the gate tickets are £10/£6.
