Bromsgrove Editorial 4th Aug, 2022   0

A TEENAGER was left with a serious injury after a knifepoint robbery in Bromsgrove.

Police have released this picture of the man they want to speak to about the attack on the 15-year-old boy which happened on the Old Birmingham Road between 6pm and 6.30pm on Monday.

The man approached the boy and demanded he hand over his bike before attacking him with a large blade.

The boy suffered a serious injury to his hand and the suspect then fled the scene with the bike.

The boy was then taken to hospital where he needed treatment.

It is believed the man in the image was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information which could assist officers with their investigation.

Witnesses, anyone who recognises the man in the picture or drivers with dash cam footage of the area at the time are urged to visit westmercia.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/ and submit their information.

Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
