HOMES were evacuated and bomb disposal experts were called in during an incident in Northfield earlier today (Saturday).
The incident happened in Hollymoor Way when a suspect item was discovered.
The area was cordoned off while officers from West Midlands Police and the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) dealt with the situation.
The items have now been deemed safe by the experts, the cordon has been lifted and residents are returning to their homes.
