AN AGGRAVATED car-key burglary took place in Barnt Green when four raiders used a vehicle to smash through the gates of a property, smashed a window, took the keys and then escaped with a BMW.

The blue BMW and the silver estate car the four arrived in between 2pm and 2.15pm last Friday left the scene in Fiery Hill Road and drove off towards Barnt Green Railway Station.

All four were men and were all wearing balaclavas.

Det Sgt Scott Chivers from West Mercia Police urged anyone who was in the area at the time or saw the silver estate car or blue BMW to get in touch with officers.

“We’re also keen to speak to the driver of a gold saloon car that is believed to have been travelling along Fiery Hill Road at the time, as we believe they may have information that could help with our investigation.”

Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
