BLUE Cross Bromsgrove are appealing for the public to donate unwanted goods after someone allegedly broke into their shed overnight and stole their bric-a-brac.

It’s a major blow to the animal charity because the news comes only six weeks before Blue Cross hosts their summer fair.

A spokesperson for Blue Cross Bromsgrove said: “We are shocked and saddened to discover that someone has broken-in during the night.

“All the bric-a-brac which the public kindly donated to us, have been taken.

“We will have to start again for the fair, so please, if you have any unwanted goods we would be grateful to receive them.

“If you saw anyone or have been offered any goods please contact us or the police.”

Bromsgrove residents have been asking what they can donate after the appeal went out on Blue Cross Bromsgrove’s Facebook page

One user said: “Tell me what items and I’ll donate now, I cannot believe there is someone out there who will take from a charit
