'Big thank you to all the volunteers who have helped during the pandemic' - Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid's Westminster Diary

Bromsgrove Editorial 12th Jun, 2021   0

LAST WEEK we celebrated National Volunteers’ Week and thanked the people across the country and in Bromsgrove who have stepped up to support their communities during this pandemic. It has made an extraordinary difference and I want to thank everyone for playing their part.

There are thousands of volunteers taking part in the vaccination programme, which continues to progress at speed.

More than 76 per cent of adults have received one dose and over 52 per cent have received both their doses. The vaccine is saving lives, so when it is your turn, please come forward and get the jab.

Bromsgrove featured again in the news recently, with a story about the successful businesses built at the Sapphire Court industrial park. Once again, it shows how much skill and talent we have locally.

I recently visited Betel UK in Alvechurch whose fantastic staff support people recovering from alcohol addiction.

It was great to meet them and hear about their important work during the pandemic.

As ever, if I can be of any assistance to my constituents, email me at [email protected]
