BROMSGROVE author Sue Watson is set to release her latest gripping new thriller ‘Wife, Mother, Liar’ today (Friday).
The story centres on a wife who has been married to her husband for 25 years and they are portrayed as ‘the ideal couple’.
She is shy but, as he is the life and soul of the party and a ‘charmer’, does not worry the first time she catches him ‘a little too close to her best friend’.
Things develop from there and the wife has her own shocking news and a secret.
Sue started her writing career as a journalist for women’s magazines and national newspapers before becoming a TV producer, working on garden makeovers, kitchen takeovers and daytime sofas.
She left TV to write and is now an internationally best-selling author.
Sue has written 22 books previously and has sold more than 1.5million copies, including more than 280,000 copies of Our Little Lies. Her last book, You, Me Her, reached number five in the UK charts and got into the top 100 in the US.
Editor, Helen Jenner, said: “Sue Watson is the queen of psychological suspense.
“In this super tense and gripping thriller, Sue explores toxic parenting and asks the question just how far will a mother go to protect her child.”
Wife, Mother, Liar has received fantastic feedback from pre-release readers who described it as a ‘roller-coaster with no breaks’, ‘jaw-dropping’ and ‘mind-blowing’.
It is available from book shops and online in ebook, paperback and audio format.
