BROMSGROVE District Housing Trust (BDHT) has announced its pledge to support the White Ribbon campaign, which says ‘no’ to violence against women.
The local housing provider has supported the campaign by asking employees to wear a white ribbon and promote domestic abuse awareness via a social media campaign.
A ‘pledge board’ has also been set up at the BDHT head office, which employees will be invited to sign to show their solidarity in taking a stand against abuse.
This will be rolled out across all social accounts to educate customers about advocacy for the cause, that’s #TheGoal for White Ribbon Day 2022.
Lisa Sutton, Head of Sustainable Communities at bdht, said: “BDHT serves the local community, and as part of our work, unfortunately, we see violence and abuse of all kinds.
“Sharing the message of the White Ribbon campaign with as many people as possible will help raise awareness and help make a change.
“BDHT takes a stand against all abuse, and White Ribbon Day is an opportunity to pledge our support.”
