AFTER more than 30 years of perfecting the craft in the fish and chip trade, Hassan and Ossie have opened their brand new chip shop.
The pair have have aimed for the place to be one where ‘tradition meets quality and every portion is served with pride’.
With decades of experience, a deep love for the community, and a commitment to using only the finest ingredients, this new venture promises to deliver the classic chip shop experience customers know and love, with a touch of warmth only true experts can provide.
They said: “Whether you’re popping in for a hearty lunch or treating the family to a Friday night favourite, you’ll taste the difference that 30 years of dedication makes.”
Gluten free day
Every Monday, between 4.30pm and 8.30pm, Barnt Green Fish Bar is offering gluten free fish and chips and other items. The pair said they are trying to cater to the needs of all their customers.

New menu offerings
Some new things Hassan and Ossie will be offering include masala cod marinated in a beautiful blend of light spices, halloumi burgers and southern fried chicken!.
They said: “We operate six days a week open from 11.45am to 1.45pm and then 4.30pm to 8.30pm (winter opening times).
“We don’t offer a personal delivery service but we have got Just Eat and Uber for those who want to order food for delivery and collection.”
On the Barnt Green Fish Bar website, customers can explore the menu and order collection.
“You can also choose specific times and we will try our best to have it ready for you.
“It can be quite busy in the shop so, if we don’t answer the phone, please order through our website.”
The pair are delighted to be based in the village.
They said: “We’re thrilled to serve the wonderful community of Barnt Green, a traditional English village with traditional fish and chips, and the surrounding areas.
