Artists unite for first exhibition in Blackwell

Bromsgrove Editorial 18th Nov, 2022   0

A GROUP of ten Worcestershire artists are banding together to host their first-ever exhibition at Blackwell Community Hall between 10am and 4pm next Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27.

More than 40 paintings will be on display and other unique art gifts, such as calendars, prints and cards, will be available.

The group – North Worcestershire Art Collective – was formed a little over a year ago.

Michelle Doidge, a Catshill-based artist who helped organise the event, said: “I am thrilled to be one of the artists taking part in our first exhibition.

“The group of talented artists each have their own unique style and techniques.

“Even if people are not looking to buy a gift but want to be inspired or talk about arty things, we would love to meet them.”

Entry into the exhibition is free as well as refreshments and cake on the day.
