Appeal launched for new toys for south Birmingham families in need this Christmas

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Nov, 2021   0

THE ANNUAL appeal has been launched to provide new toys for south Birmingham families and children in need has been launched.

Gemma Cartwright MBE and Andy Cartwright from Pride of Longbridge, Tony Geraghty Butchers and Sainsbury’s Longbridge have all teamed up again for the drive.

Gemma said: “We are grateful to everyone in the community and local businesses for coming together – the difference this makes to local children and young people is amazing.”

The drive usually gets a fantastic response from the south Birmingham community and the organisers are hoping this year will be the same.

Recipients of the toys will be referred by local agencies and groups.

A trolley is available in Sainsbury’s Longbridge for people to drop toys off to.
