APPEAL - Image released after bus driver assaulted in Northfield

POLICE have released this CCTV image of a suspect who is wanted after a bus driver was assaulted in an unprovoked attack.

During the incident, a passenger boarded the 63 bus in Birmingham City Centre shortly after 8pm on August 10.

Whilst waiting to get off the bus 30 minutes later in Leech Lane, Northfield, the attacker became abusive and punched the driver in the face, breaking his glasses and leaving him with cuts above his eyebrow and cheek.
