RUBERY showed it certainly has got talent during a five-hour show at the village’s Memorial Club.
The winner of the under 12 years category went to dancer Payton who danced to A Cat in the Hat. The runner-up was Daniel who played his guitar.

The winner of the 12 to 18 section was Grace who impressed the judges with her very controlled singing voice. The runner-up in the very close contest was Ella who performed songs in sign language.
And the winner of the over 18s category was Shelly Creighton who sang Black Velvet and Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Second in that section was Stephan Burnard.
There was a fantastic turn-out at the event which also gave children the chance to get up on stage and sing some Christmas Carols.
Organiser Tony Maslen thanked everyone who took part and the judges.
