BROMSGROVE’S ‘RocKing The High Street’ – a free-for-all seven-hour party on Bromsgrove High Street – will take place on Sunday, May 7, for The King’s coronation.
The extravaganza is the brainchild of community champion Jules Evans and has been organised in conjunction with Bromsgrove District Council’s Events Team, town manager Lyndsey Berry, Back Door Productions and the Bromsgrove Regeneration Team.
The team brought the High Street alive last year with the Platinum Jubilee Party which received critical acclaim.
The event will be officially opened at 1pm by Town Crier and Court Leet Bellman Kevin Ward. Here is how the rest of the day will pan out.
