AN ALL-STAR line up will be speaking about their experiences of hate crime in Bromsgrove next Friday, October 19.

‘The Apprentice 2017’ star and businesswoman Bushra Shaikh, Paralympic gold medalist Claire Cashmore MBE and radio show host Ray Khan will be speaking at the event to share their stories and discuss with visitors how differences should be celebrated.

The event, held at the Parkside Suite in Bromsgrove, is open for all to attend between 10am and 1pm.

Nadia Rashid, the chair of the North Worcestershire Hate Incident Partnership which is organising the day, said: “This is a really positive event to bring together the communities in North Worcestershire to celebrate perceived difference and break down the barriers associated with them.”

North Worcestershire Hate Incident Partnership is hosting the event for local people to mark National Hate Crime Awareness Week, which runs between October 13 and 20.
