IT HAS been all change for Bromsgrove and Worcestershire Labour groups.
Coun Michael Thompson has taken over the leadership with Coun Peter McDonald who stepped down as Worcestershire Labour leader as his deputy.
Coun Luke Mallett has been named as deputy leader of the Worcestershire Labour Party.
We reported last week Coun Robin Lunn was the the new leader.
Speaking about his new role Coun Thompson said: “I will be putting together a new manifesto with a view to winning the district council elections next year.
“We have a lot of experienced councillors in the group and I want it to be about everyone.
“We need more ideas about the infrastructure for the town, including the possibility of a Western By-Pass, we need to ensure we get the new sports hall and address air pollution.”
