Alfa Romeo stopped and one arrested after police pursuit around Rubery and Frankley

A POLICE pursuit involving an Alfa Romeo was brought to a successful conclusion by quick-thinking officers.

The vehicle failed to stop and was chased down around Rubery and Frankley by officers from West Mercia Police’s Operational Policing Unit.

A stinger was then used to bring the vehicle to a stand-still near the Arden Road shops in Frankley.

There was no injuries or damage, except to the vehicle’s tyres.




One person was arrested at the scene during the incident which took place in the early hours of this morning.
