A THRILLER of an evening is in store when authors from Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch come together, writes Eve Watson.

‘A Night of Crime’ with Sue Watson, Sheryl Browne and Carla Kovach takes place at The Hive in Worcester from 7pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, October 17.

The trio will give readings from their best-selling thriller and crime novels and share stories about writing their books.

Sue, whose novel Our Little Lies topped the best-sellers list, said: “This promises to be a great night and a real spine tingle as we’ll be talking, reading and sharing our stories about writing our crime and thriller books.

“Whether you’re a reader, writer, or simply a thrill-seeker, this is definitely not an evening to miss.”

Sheryl, who penned psychological thriller The Babysitter, said: “We’ll reveal where we get all our creepy ideas from too – it may surprise you.”

The authors’ talk will be followed by a book signing and question and answer session with the writers.

Carla, author of bestselling crime novel The Next Girl, added: “We’ll be welcoming questions from readers on all aspects of writing on ‘the dark side’.”

Admission is free but places need to be booked.
