I was delighted (and deeply humbled) to be re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove with the highest vote share and majority in our district’s history.
I’d like to thank our local community for putting its faith in me once again to deliver for our district.
Regardless of the way in which you voted, I will always do my best to stand up for you and your family. If there’s anything I can ever help you with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
You’ve now elected me four times in nine years. As necessary as the election was, however, I’m ready to move beyond a time where Westminster dominates the evening news – beyond there constantly being another election around the corner and another argument over the dinner table.
It’s never a good sign if Government and politics overshadows your day-to-day life, and one of the messages I got on the doorstep is that Bromsgrove is ready for a break from the bickering!
In that spirit, I’d like to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
However you choose to celebrate, I hope it brings the rest and relaxation you deserve.
I very much look forward to hearing from you in 2020.
