A NEW residential suite at Chandler Court has been unveiled that will become home to as many as 21 residents.
The ribbon was cut on the new Housman Suite by 90-year-old Joan Rigley, who recently moved into Chandler Court while the second floor suite’s first two residents enjoyed the ceremony.
Everyone at the unveiling was treated to cakes and a glass of bubbly.
Located on the home’s second floor, the suite features a communal lounge, dining room and outside balcony.
It also boasts a games room, with the layout intended to help create tight-knit communities at Chandler Court.
Chandler Court’s home manager, Vongai Mushinga said: “The unveiling of our new suite is an important milestone for all of us, as it means we can now meet the demand in Bromsgrove and beyond for residential care.
“It was great to showcase the types of care we will be able to offer to the local community and show just what life is like at Chandler Court.
“We look forward to welcoming residents to their new home and ensuring their care needs are met holistically, no matter the support they require.”
