THE children at Jellybabies Nursery & Pre-School marked the 86th birthday of one of their volunteers by making cards and singing.
Brian Kite has been a volunteer for the centre for 30 years and, during this time, has never received a penny for his work.
Every morning he welcomes each child and helps and supports them where necessary.
Jacqueline Walker, Nursery Manager, said: “The jobs he carries out each day at the nursery are far too many to mention.
“We all really appreciate having Brian as such a big and valuable part of our nursery – he is loved by all.”
