50 Shades of Beige - Rubery Drama Group's poignant comedy takes to the stage tonight

50 Shades of Beige – by local playwright Roger Goddard – gets under way at Rubery’s Beacon Church Centre this evening.

The show is directed by Dave Healing who joined Rubery Drama Group for its post-lockdown production of ‘Don’t Dress For Dinner’.

The play is set in the day room of the Autumn Leaves Nursing Home where Tom is determined to grow old disgracefully with his attentions focused on Norma, a fellow resident. Of course true love never runs smoothly in this poignant, but uplifting comedy.

Performances are at 7.30pm tonight, tomorrow and Saturday – April 28 to 30 – with tickets at £8 (£7 concessions) available on the door or by calling 0121 453 8733 or 0121 445 2323. Alternatively, email [email protected].
