COFTON Hackett will soon no longer be serviced by the long-running 20A bus route between Birmingham and Bromsgrove, as National Express West Midlands announces summer changes.
The 20A which ran between Bromsgrove and Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital via Cofton Hackett will no longer be stopping in the small village.
Both the 20, which runs from Bromsgrove to the hospital, and the 20A will be replaced by a new X20 service which will remove stops in Cofton Hackett.
The new X20 service will be extended to run between Birmingham city centre and Bromsgrove, extending it past the 20 routes previous terminus at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Buses between Birmingham and Bromsgrove will be running every 60 minutes and between the city centre and Rednal every 30 minutes.
These changes will come into effect as of June 1, 2025. Visit https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/service-updates/1st-june-changes for more information.
