Super sleuth Sheer Luck Holmes heading to Bromsgrove for Fairbourne Dodders' annual pantomime

THE ANNUAL pantomime by the Fairbourne Dodders will this year centre on super sleuth Sheer Luck Holmes.

The show, by Bob Heather and Cheryl Barrett, will be performed at 7.30pm from Wednesday, November 29, to next Saturday, December 2, when there will also be a matinee at 2.30pm.

The pacy production at Dodford Village Hall has all the familiar panto ingredients and characters and sees the goodies join forces to solve the mysterious case of the missing art works.

Holmes is assisted by his housekeeper Dottie the dame, the frustrated inventor of fantastical gadgets, and Baskerville the pantomime dog, as he tries to thwart baddies Mary Arty and Hudson the butcher whose sausages are not as they seem.

There are also plenty of quick-fire corny one-liners, along with lots of action, audience participation, song and dance, a love story and, of course, a happy ending.

The hall has a licensed bar and access for the disabled and tickets are available from James on 07946 715220 and Christine on 07902 350941.
