THE REMI Harris Trio, who have toured worldwide and have performed at Buckingham Palace, will be heading to Bromsgrove’s Artrix on Saturday, September 29.
The group takes Gypsy Swing characteristics and infuses them with influences from jazz, blues, rock’n’roll, funk, World music and more.
The show features Remi on a variety of acoustic and electric guitars accompanied by a hot club rhythm section of acoustic guitar and double bass.
It also includes solo, duet and trio playing interspersed with Remi’s commentary about the history of the music and the guitars he plays.
Martin Taylor MBE described the show as ‘brilliant’ and singer Cerys Matthews, who presents on BBC Radio 6 Music, described it as ‘astonishing stuff’.
The show starts at 8pm in the studio with tickets costing £15.
