Popular Bromsgrove folk band Grafton Ash releases new EP today

Bromsgrove Editorial 19th Feb, 2017   0

A POPULAR folk pop band formed by two Bromsgrove students are set to release their second EP today (Friday).

Grafton Ash, a four-piece band created by former North Bromsgrove High School students Dan Roberts and Dan Blake in 2015, have created and self-produced the four-track ‘Existing’.

Starting out as an acoustic duo, the two Dans grew with experience and introduced Stephen Ashford and Sam Dimmick to their sound.

Released in summer 2015, their debut EP ‘Avalanche’ quickly gained attention and backing from BBC Introducing, with the title track becoming ‘Track of the Week’ twice.

The last year has seen the band share the stage with the likes of The Feeling, The Fratellis and Racing Glaciers, playing sold out shows at Birmingham O2 Institute, London O2 Academy Islington and Covent Garden’s prestigious Hospital Club.

Existing will be available to download on all music platforms including iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play and Spotify.
