SINGER-SONGWRITER Miranda Sykes will showcase her new album Out of the Woods when she plays The Fleece at Bretforton on June 2.
The collection of songs have seen Miranda through her own journey of isolation, illness and recovery, and with it she aims to brings listeners as much comfort as they did her over the past few turbulent years.
She said: “Life is many faceted; like most people I’ve had good times and hard times. I’ve taken some forks in the road I shouldn’t have done and I’ve had some knocks, but it’s all part of who I am now. I am blessed that I feel that I am in a place where my “planets are aligning” and I am at peace with myself and my place in the world. “Out of the Woods” reflects this journey, with its ups and downs, through a collection of powerful and personal songs, sung from the heart that I would like to share with you.”
