AFTER the success of previous drive-in events last year, Artrix is holding two drive-in movies in their car park this summer, showcasing two classic films people can enjoy in the comfort of their own car, writes Kieran Kelly.
‘Moulin Rouge’ will be screened tomorrow and ‘Mamma Mia’ will be shown on August 18.
The car park will open at 7.30pm at both events with the film following shortly after at 9pm.
‘Moulin Rouge’ stars the famous Ewan McGregor and follows his character as he starts an affair with a notorious celebrity from the 1900s era.
‘Mamma Mia!’ is a musical romantic comedy film adapted from the 1999 Broadway show. Soundtracked to ABBA, the film stars world renowned actors such as Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan.
There will be food and drink which can be pre-booked or bought on the nights but, because of limited availability, ordering in advance is recommended.
Upon arrival, film-goers should meet a Box Office team member who will check the ticket and meal voucher if bought.
Tickets will be £25 per car.
Headsets will be provided but those wanting to use auxiliary ports will have to bring their own wires.
