LOCAL artists will come together on bank holiday Monday, May 29, for a brand new event which will raise funds for the Primrose Hospice.

Art with Heart will take place at The Jinney Ring craft centre in Hanbury between 11am and 4pm.

The artists will showcase their work for a silent auction and there will be creative activities which everyone can get involved with.

Whether visitors are eight or 80 there will be something for everyone.

Entry is free to the event and everyone is welcome to go along, browse the pieces for sale from local artists, watch live art or get involved in workshops.

Primrose Hospice will be partnering with the local charity, ‘Creative Art Showcase’, which will be providing a creative zone for everyone, young and old, to get involved with and make their own magical piece to take home.

Steffi Price, event organiser at Primrose Hospice said everyone was excited about the event.

“We’ll be featuring the incredible work of talented local artists and community groups, along with some pieces by our very own gifted patients.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to take home a truly unique piece of art that you’ll cherish for years to come.

“Our event promises to be a fun-filled day for the whole family.

“From art workshops suitable for all ages to face painting, there’s plenty to keep you entertained on this spring bank holiday.”

She said the charity she hoped as many people as possible would come to the event which brings together art enthusiasts and families.
