INDUSTRIAL ACTION - No services on any West Midlands Railway routes on three dates across May and June

Bromsgrove Editorial 11th May, 2023   0

A NEW wave of industrial action will disrupt all services on the West Midlands Railway network tomorrow (May 12), with another strike day planned later in the month and one more in June.

The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) union have announced industrial action on May 12, May 31 and June 3.

There will be no services on West Midlands Railway routes on these days.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) have also announced industrial action on May 13 (Saturday) meaning a limited timetable will run between 7am and 7pm, with some services completely suspended.

Train users who have purchased tickets for the strike days planned on May 12 or May 13 can use their ticket on May 11 or up to and including May 16.

Those who have purchased tickets for May 31 can use their ticket on May 30 or up to and including June 2.

Passengers who have purchased tickets for June 3 can use their ticket on June 2 or up to and including June 6.

West Midlands Railway advises passengers travel as close to their original departure time as possible.
