A CREATIVE Rubery youngster has won his nursery’s Easter bonnet competition with this impressive Paddington Bear design.

Ike Ellis, three, attends Cottontails Too on Leach Heath Lane where the children were tasked with creating some egg-cellent headwear.

Ike loves Paddington Bear so had no doubt what he wanted his themed on and set about making this eye-catching hat with mum Naomi and his auntie Chloe Newman.

The design features balloons, Union Flags and iconic London items, including a traditional red bus, King’s Guards and Big Ben, along with Peru’s most famous export.

And, quite rightly, Ike was egg-static to have won.

Chloe said: “He loved the fact he won and has been showing everyone his bonnet ever since.

“On the day he even quoted Paddington saying: ‘If you’re kind and polite, the world will be right!’.”
