A WARNING has been sent out to people persistently committing crime in Worcestershire, harming their communities in the process.
West Mercia Police is undertaking a week of action to target prolific offenders who are wanted for crimes, such as drugs and anti-social behaviour.
Codenamed ‘Operation Justice’, the project will see increased police activity at various times with the aim of arresting outstanding suspects.
Ch Supt Paul Moxley said updates on the progress of the operation and images of the perpetrators, along with seized and stolen items, would be shared by the force.
“At the end of the week, we will also provide a summary of the outcomes as a result of the operation including arrests made and anticipated future court appearances.
“Operation Justice aims to track down those suspects who thought they may have evaded prosecution, those who have gone to ground and those who continue to blight local communities with their unacceptable anti-social behaviour.”
Anyone who feels at risk or sees a crime in progress should contact 999.
