A FUND-RAISING concert in aid of those caught up in the Turkey and Syria earthquakes will take place at Bromsgrove’s St John’s Church.
The ‘Festival of Singing’ will be held at 7pm tomorrow (Sunday) – everyone is welcome and no tickets are required.
Attendees can join local choirs and singers, including choirs from North and South Bromsgrove High Schools, the Bromsgrove Community Choir, the St John’s Choir and individual singers. Among them will be BBC Introducing Erica Jean and local group Vintage Class Singers.
The concert will be hosted by Rev Ray Khan and Mazen Salmou.
Everyone is urged to go along to help those affected by the earthquakes with all proceeds going to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) which is getting aid out to Turkey an Syria.
More than 50,000 people have died in the quakes, including over 45,000 in Turkey and in excess of 7,000 in Syria.
