A REWARD has been put up to catch thieves who stole more than £15,000 worth of antique jewellery from the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury.
A number of items were stolen in a burglary which happened around 1am last Wednesday, March 1 when thieves broke into the centre.
Among the 20 extremely rare items were an Austrian 14ct yellow gold poinsettia flower brooch, an Austrian 14ct white gold Floriate brooch with four old cut diamonds, Akoya Pearls with 9ct clasps and an Edwardian yellow gold pendant necklace.
Police are carrying out enquiries and the victim of the burglary has offered a £1,000 reward for information that directly leads to the arrest and prosecution of the offenders or the recovery of all of the stolen items.
