New food donation point launched in Bromsgrove for pets and owners in need

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Mar, 2023   0

PETS at Home Bromsgrove is launching a new community donation point to help owners in need during the cost-of-living crisis.

The new donation point will allow people to donate pet food to help owners in need, with all the goods then collected and distributed by Blue Cross to local food banks.

Pets at home will be looking for donations of dog, cat, puppy and kitten food, as well as tasty treats for small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.

The donation points will be rolled out to all Pets at Home stores across the UK by June and will be kept in place for as long as they are needed.

Pets at Home Bromsgrove store manager Jack Constable said: “We’re excited to launch the customer donation points in our store. I’m looking forward to raising awareness of the local causes we’ll be supporting, and we’re grateful for our customers giving whatever they can.”
