MOTORISTS are being urged to avoid the M5 between Bromsgrove and Droitwich because of a crash.
Officers from West Mercia Police have had to close the southbound carriageway between Junction 4a and 5.
The vehicle has been abandoned and will need to be recovered.
Officers have apologised for the disruption caused to motorists.
Drivers should find alternative routes and allow extra time for their journeys.
