Bromsgrove church's free multi-sensory Nativity adventure wowed audience

GRACECHURCH in Bromsgrove transported visitors back in time with its very own multi-sensory Nativity adventure.

“An afternoon to remember” was on the table after the church decided to host the event as a walkthrough meet and greet with all the nativity characters.

Around 38 volunteers – including nine young people – received donations from Co-op and Asda, which supported the event.

Participants were invited to journey around to meet characters while also being immersed with burning incense sticks, animal noises and different set displays.

Fun activities also included leading how to write your name in Arabic, decorating biscuits, toasting s’mores on a campfire and making Christmas tree decorations.

Charlotte Hamflett, from Gracechurch, said: “It was a privilege and a joy to see the excitement on the faces of the children.

“The amazing team brought the Nativity to life in such a special way and sowed seeds of love, peace and faith for so many children and their families.”
