Another vehicle stolen from Bromsgrove as driver left engine running

ANOTHER vehicle has been stolen from Bromsgrove after the owner left the engine running to defrost it.

The incident happened on Old Birmingham Road, near Catshill, around 8.30am on Friday.

Police confirmed the owner had left it unattended.

Officers have warned motorists to stay with their cars and vans whilst having the engine running to defrost them.




Insurance companies will not pay out if cars are left running when they are taken.

On Friday we reported of another incident on Old Birmingham Road – that time in Lickey End. The Ford Ranger which was stolen has still not been found. Two people in another car believed to have been involved were arrested.
